About the Centre

India’s knowledge traditions span philosophy, science, mathematics, language, arts, governance, health, architecture, and ways of understanding the world that have evolved over centuries.

The Centre for Indian Knowledge System at Vishwakarma University has been established to promote awareness, understanding, preservation, and exploration of India’s rich knowledge traditions and intellectual heritage.

At the Centre, you are encouraged to engage with Indian knowledge systems through academic discussions, learning initiatives, interdisciplinary exploration, and activities connected to India’s cultural and intellectual traditions.

The Centre also aligns with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasises the integration of Indian Knowledge Systems into education and learning.

The Centre of Indian Knowledge System at Vishwakarma University aspires to be a beacon of traditional wisdom and contemporary relevance, fostering a profound understanding and appreciation of India's rich cultural, intellectual, and philosophical heritage.
