TThe Vishwakarma University Institute of Innovation (VUII) is a transformative initiative established in consultation with Prof. B.K. Chakravarthy from the IDC School of Design, IIT Bombay. The institute aims to create a dynamic innovation ecosystem that brings together academia, government, and industry to develop impactful and humanity-centric solutions.
At VUII, you are encouraged to think beyond conventional academic boundaries and engage with real-world challenges through interdisciplinary collaboration, creativity, research, and project-based learning.
The institute focuses on building capacities, nurturing innovation, and creating opportunities for students and faculty to work on projects that address unmet societal and environmental needs.

VUII Objectives
The Equal Opportunity Cell aims to:
Humanity-Centric Innovation: Develop an innovation ecosystem that places the needs of society at its core, fostering solutions that positively impact communities and individuals.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Facilitate collaborative efforts between academia and industry to encourage a diverse range of perspectives in problem-solving and innovation.
Capacity Building: Build the capacity of participants, including faculty, champions, and students, through hands-on project experiences aligned with the principles of Project-Based Learning (PBL).
Champion-led Projects: Identify and assign champions from Vishwakarma University to specific domains or projects, ensuring active involvement and leadership in driving project activities and research.
Contemporary Curriculum, Pedagogy and Practice (C2P2) Integration: Translate larger projects into smaller sub-projects that can be effectively managed and transferred to students, aligning with the initiative of Concept to Prototype to Product.
The institute emphasizes project-based learning to engage students in real-world problem-solving while creating learning environments that mirror professional settings.
