About us

Architecture combines creativity with technical and mathematical skills, making it an enjoyable and dynamic profession that is currently in high demand. The first year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) programme is structured to equip students with the know-how and skill set to design modern built environments through teaching and research.

The Department of Architecture, under the School of Architecture and Planning, through its contemporary design studio in collaboration with the Council of Architecture (COA), encourages aspirations, experiments, and architectural research.

The architecture programme at Viswakarma University, Pune, was approved by the Council of Architecture (COA) in 2019 and aims at training the architects of tomorrow so that the ever-changing requirements of the profession can be met.

HOD Message

It is an honour to be heading the School of Architecture and Planning at the Vishwakarma University, Pune. With highly esteemed and qualified faculty members, the department aims at igniting young minds and focusing on the knowledge base and practical application of the knowledge and making them industry-ready professionals. During study at the department, the students are encouraged to get hands-on experience of the practical works done in the industry, fostering their industry connection and giving them global exposure.
